New W6 Commuter Connect Ticket set to launch

Bus travel to Worcester Six Business Park is about to get easier and more affordable. From 28 July, a new monthly ticket, the W6 Commuter Connect will be available for just £40, offering unlimited travel on the W6 bus route. The new monthly ticket is being made available to help celebrate the arrival of Bidfood to the business park.

In addition to the new ticket, passengers will benefit from an expanded timetable, with more frequent services covering a wider range of shift times. The improvements aim to better support commuters working across different hours at Worcester Six Business Park, one of the region’s key employment hubs.

Councillor Karl Perks, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said: “We’re excited to introduce the W6 Commuter Connect ticket as part of our commitment to supporting local workers and making bus travel more accessible.

“The extended service hours are designed around the needs of those working at Worcester Six Business Park, and we hope this helps more people switch to public transport.”

Operated by LMS Travel, the W6 route links Worcester city centre with Worcester Six Business Park, and the upcoming changes reflect growing demand for reliable, cost-effective transport to and from the area.

Currently, the service offers day and weekly tickets, with the new monthly option being available to purchase on board W6 services, via the mobile app, and online from the launch date.
