Temporary change of venue for Worcestershire County Council’s Planning and Regulatory Committee

You may be aware that Reinforced Autoclaved Aerate Concreate (RAAC) has been found present in the roof of Worcestershire County Council’s offices at County Hall, Worcester . 

Whilst investigations into this material are ongoing and to ensure the safety of staff and the public, as a precautionary measure, parts of County Hall, including the Council Chamber, where the Council’s Committee meetings are held, have been vacated and closed off for the foreseeable future.

As a result of the above, the County Council’s Planning and Regulatory Committee meetings will be held in Wychavon District Council’s Council Chamber at Pershore Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT for the foreseeable future.

The Committee meetings will continue to be webcast live on the Council’s website.
