‘Study Happy’, a partnership between Worcestershire Libraries and The University of Worcester, is all about helping students to reach their academic goals while also prioritising their wellbeing.

What is Study Happy?

‘Study Happy’, a partnership between Worcestershire Libraries and The University of Worcester, is all about helping students, particularly those studying for school, college or university exams, to reach their academic goals while also prioritising their wellbeing. 

With Study Happy, students have access at all Worcestershire Libraries, including The Hive, to free study spaces, computers, resources and WiFi to help them ace their exams and stay on top of their coursework. Find out where your nearest local library is.

Events and activities designed to de-stress and support healthy studying

Study Happy emphasises the importance of self-care and taking breaks while studying and libraries host events that are designed to de-stress and support healthy studying. These include PAT therapy dog sessions, Mindful Colouring, free hot chocolate, and fruit snacks.

Research, referencing and information gathering help from the University of Worcester

Study Happy also offers research, referencing, and information-gathering help from the University of Worcester’s Ask a Librarian service, giving anyone studying for exams or coursework access to expert advice and guidance on their academic work. The team aim to respond within 48 hours, contact Ask a Librarian.

Study Happy resource list

Resources are available to help improve your studying, help you to have a healthy mindset and suggest some interesting ways to relax after a busy studying session. Included in the resource list are details of  study techniques, mental health charities, food recipes and much more.
