Get Worcestershire Working
We're working together across Worcestershire to help more people get into work, find better jobs, and build a stronger local economy.
This forms part of the Government’s Get Britain Working plan. Every area in the country is putting together a local version to show how they’ll support people into employment and help them progress once they’re in work.
The aim is to increase the number of people in work and raise the quality of jobs across the country.
What we are we doing
In Worcestershire, our Skills and Employability service are bringing together organisations from across the county including local district councils, the NHS, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Worcestershire Growth Hub, colleges, community organisations, employers, and our own services such as Careers Worcs – to create one clear plan that supports:
- more people into jobs
- better job opportunities for all
- stronger links between services and support
- fairer access to training, health, and employment advice
We want this to be a shared effort. That’s why we’re asking partners and stakeholders to give their views and help shape the final plan.
Get involved with Get Worcestershire Working
If you're one of our local partners, please take a few minutes to complete our short survey.
Your input will help us understand what’s already working, where there are gaps, and how we can work better together.
The survey includes questions based on the information in the ‘Get Worcestershire Working slide deck (Powerpoint)’.
The ‘Get Worcestershire Working data pack (PDF)’, offers further insights into the local labour market.
We recommend reviewing these documents before starting the survey.
The survey will remain open until Thursday 31 July 2025.
