Have your say! Engagement with stakeholders and residents
Public Consultation Engagement has now closed
The consultation on changes to schools in the Pershore area has now closed.
The consultation ran from 11 October to 26 November 2021 and provided stakeholders with an opportunity to share views about what is important about age ranges of schools and transitions. Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Children First received a total of 270 responses from stakeholders, including parent carers, school staff, pupils, governing boards, local residents, other local schools and interested stakeholders.
We are grateful to all those who took the time to respond. Alongside individual school Governing Bodies and Multi-Academy Trusts we will be reviewing the responses received and recently held a workshop with Pershore schools to discuss the main findings of the consultation to inform the next steps.
We will now present the consultation responses and feedback from individual school proposers to Cabinet in Spring 2022.
We will notify you when the report is published. Individual school proposers (where the Governing Body can propose a change) and Academy Trust proposers continue to work closely with the Local Authority to form proposals alongside the Cabinet report process.
Thank you to all who provided a consultation response and engaged with this process.
If you would like to get in touch please do email PershoreReview@worcestershire.gov.uk
To learn more about the proposals, please view the Pershore area consultation document (PDF).

Overarching consultation, video presentation and consultation sessions
A video presentation (opens in a new window) is available to view, outlining the proposals included in the consultation.
Worcestershire Children First (WCF) held consultation sessions during November 2021 to provide an opportunity for questions and find out further information. If you were unable to attend but would like to ask any further questions, please email PershoreReview@worcschildrenfirst.org.uk.
