Guidance and information about the LNRS public consultation

Find out how to take part in the public consultation on the draft Worcestershire Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

The public consultation on the draft Worcestershire LNRS is now live. The consultation will run from Monday 4 August 2025 to Friday 26 September 2025.

About the consultation

A Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is a spatial strategy required by the Environment Act 2021 to guide where and how nature recovery can best be achieved.

Before being published, the draft Worcestershire LNRS is required to undergo public consultation.

In this consultation you can tell us:

  • if the right priority habitats, species and environmental issues have been identified for Worcestershire
  • if the right ‘Potential Measures’ (suggested on-the-ground actions for recovering nature) have been mapped in the right locations
  • about any changes you think we should make to the wording of the suggested Potential Measures
  • how easy the Local Habitat Map is to use and understand
