Highways licence for tables and chairs

Information on the licensing of tables and chairs on the highway (also known as ‘street amenity’ or ‘pavement licences’).

The Business and Planning Act 2020 has come into force in July 2020.

This means that, in Worcestershire, the licensing of tables and chairs on the highway (also known as ‘street amenity’ or ‘pavement licences’) is now undertaken by Worcestershire Regulatory Services on behalf of the Borough, City and District Councils.
