Independent Remuneration Panel - recruitment

We’re looking for two members of the public to join our Independent Remuneration Panel which advises the Council on the allowances to be paid to Councillors.

This post is on a voluntary basis and the appointment will be for an initial four-year period, which may be renewed. The duties involved may require travelling and such expenses will be reimbursed. It is open to people from all walks of life and backgrounds with no specific qualifications needed.
