Rubery Library will be closed (including Libraries Unlocked services) from 30 June for approximately 2 to 3 weeks for essential emergency repairs to the roof to be completed.

Please note that any books due for return during this period will be automatically renewed, and no fines will be applied. Library services are available at nearby libraries in Catshill and Bromsgrove.

Opening times

New technology at Rubery Library allows customers with Libraries Unlocked membership to enter the library using their library card outside normal opening hours and to use library services independently when staff are not present.

Customers who upgrade to free libraries unlocked membership will be able to access the library from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Saturday. If you have yet to upgrade, please visit the library during core opening times and speak to staff.
