Minerals Planning Policy

Minerals Planning Policy

Worcestershire County Council is the Minerals Planning Authority for Worcestershire and is responsible for preparing planning policies on mineral development.

The Council's current policies are set out in the Worcestershire Minerals Local Plan which was adopted on 14 July 2022. You can view the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal in the 'Statutory Assessments' section of the the Preparation of the Minerals Local Plan pages.

These documents can also be inspected at County Hall reception (Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP), during normal office hours and at public libraries in Worcestershire.

The Council is no longer preparing a Mineral Site Allocations Development Plan Document, for the reasons set out in the latest Local Development Scheme
