County Enterprises is a service within Worcestershire County Council providing supported employment for people with learning and physical disabilities

Originating in Worcester in 1978 County Enterprises offers a packing and assembly service as well as an onsite metal fabricating workshop producing and selling stainless steel flue pipe products. The current service employs 19 people and is located on a self-contained site in Worcester city.

Services

County Enterprises offers the following services:

Engineering

A metal fabricating workshop which has established itself as a manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel flue pipe products. The service currently supplies an established range of single skin flue products but can also offer one off bespoke products to both domestic and commercial markets.

Packing and assembly

County Enterprises provides services to a number of private and public sector clients providing a packing and assembly services, including:

  • sorting and bagging
  • assembling and testing
  • labelling and packing

Examples of work carried out include:

  • plumbing and heating fittings
  • cycle components
  • disability aids
  • headlight assemblies
  • CNC machine tool component
  • industrial fastenings
