Malvern Library Illustration Collection

The collection contains over 1500 items including oil and watercolour painting, prints, photographs, post cards and posters, mostly of local interest.  Access to the collection is by appointment only. Anyone viewing any item from the collection must be a Worcestershire Library member. To become a member of the library please bring proof of address e.g. driving licence, recent bank statement or a household bill.

Saturday 9th July - 9.00am until 4.00pm - Join us for an all-day LEGO drop-in challenge based on Andy Griffiths' '13-Storey Treehouse' books. 

Create and build something amazing to add to our LEGO treehouse, but you only have 25 minutes! They'll also be exclusive Andy Griffiths activity sheets to pick up plus a chance to discover 'Launchball', a fantastic science-based online game from the Science Museum Group. 

And most importantly, you also get the chance to sign up for this year's Summer Reading Challenge!

"Read & Grow" Gardening Group - Meets weekly on Tuesday afternoons 2pm to 3:30pm

Photography Group  - Meets every 4th Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 3 pm.  Next meetings are on 12 October,  9 November and 7 December 2022.

Knitting Group - Meets weekly on Wednesday  evenings 5:30pm to 7pm

Malvern Sole Mates Walking Group - Wednesday, 16th February at 2:00pm. Worcestershire Health Walks are free, easy, accessible and local. Health walks are between 30-90 minutes long. You can walk at your own pace and you do not need any specialised equipment. Joining a heath walk group is a great way to improve your health and to make new friends. Our health walk groups are friendly and welcome all ages and levels of fitness.No need to book. Meet at the library 10-15 minutes before start of walk.

About Malvern Library:

The original Edwardian library building was extended and re-furbished in 2006 and now offers a light, open contemporary space providing the community with a 'one-stop-shop' for a wide range of local services.  These services include the Worcestershire Hub Customer Service Centre and Malvern Registration Services as well as library services.  Visitors to the library will find an extensive collection of books and AV materials, self-service issue and return facilities, 38 public access computers for all ages, free WiFi access, a programme of children's activities and adult learning courses and exhibition space displaying work of local and regional artists.
