Normal opening times

  • Monday: 9am to 7pm
  • Tuesday: 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 5pm
  • Friday: 9am to 5pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 4pm

You can renew your loans online or by visiting any other Worcestershire Library.  You can renew over the phone by calling the Worcestershire Hub on 01905 822722 or you can use our 24 hour automated renewal system on the same number.

Christmas and New Year opening times

  • Saturday 24 December: close at 1pm (including Libraries Unlocked)
  • Sunday 25 December: closed
  • Monday 26 December: closed (including Libraries Unlocked)
  • Tuesday 27 December: closed (including Libraries Unlocked)
  • Wednesday 28 December: normal opening times. The Hive will be open until 6pm
  • Thursday 29 December: normal opening times. The Hive will be open until 6pm
  • Friday 30 December: normal opening times. The Hive will be open until 6pm
  • Saturday 31 December: close at 5pm. (including Libraries Unlocked) only applies to libraries which are normally open

Join our monthly coding and computing club for children aged 5 to 17 years. Explore coding for all levels from beginner to advanced. Ukraine Connections

 A friendly drop in session every Monday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm for Ukrainians and hosts to chat and have a hot drink.

Christmas Events and Activities

Christmas card station:  Saturday 26 November to 3 December.  Head into the library and make a Christmas card.  You can also make an extra one if you would like to give one to our Library Service at Home customers.  Free of charge.

Christmas party for children aged 4 years and over: Monday 19 December from 2:30pm.  Join us for a good ol' fashioned Christmas party with food and games.  Christmassy themed outfits are welcome.  £1 per person.

Dummy the Elf: Tuesday 20 December from 9:30am to 10:30am.  Children can swap their dummies for a prize and certificate.  Free of charge, no need to book.

Christmas active tots for children aged 2 to 5 years: Tuesday 20 December from 10am.  Free of charge, booking essential.  

Christmas decoration for children aged 4 years and over: Wednesday 21 December from 10:30am.  We have mini Christmas trees, Santa door hangers and salt dough decorations for children to decorate.  £1 per person, booking essential.

Starting Well's Christmas party for everyone: Thursday 22 December from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.  Starting Well brings Christmas into Bromsgrove Library with a chance to meet Santa, make a craft and create reindeer food.  Free of charge, booking essential.

Cosy Christmas stories for children aged 3 years and over: Friday 23 December from 11:30am.  Come to the library in your Christmas outfit and enjoy a couple of cosy stories read by library staff.  Free of charge, no need to book.

Christmas LEGO club for children aged 2 years and over: Saturday 24 December from 10:30am to 12:30pm.  Create as many LEGO Christmas-themed objects as you can.

Readers' Group

Bromsgrove readers' group meet every second Monday of the month. Please note the book is chosen on a monthly basis by the group. Time: 5.30pm to 6.45pm.

The group is currently full but they are running a waiting list. For further information, please contact the library on 01905 822722.

LEGO Club:  Drop in for all ages, on alternate Saturdays beginning 12 November from 10:30am to 3:30pm.  Get creative and join us at our Lego and Blocks session.  No booking required.

Boardgame Club:  Drop in for all ages, on alternate Saturdays beginning 19 November from 10:30am to 3:30pm.  Come and play some of the fantastic games we have to offer.  No booking required.
