Have your say on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy
Opportunities to get involved in shaping the Local Nature Recovery Strategy will be published here.
Preparing our strategy
Decisions about where and how to recover nature will be reached through consultation and in collaboration with a wide range of people, groups, and organisations across Worcestershire.
The Council has brought together a steering group of key partners to assist in preparation of the LNRS. Further information about LNRS preparation and detail of any consultations will be published here when available.
We want everyone to have their say
Thank you to everyone who responded to our LNRS Issues and Options consultation that ran from 15 January until 10 March this year. We received 180 responses with useful additions for key threats, pressures and priorities for Worcestershire’s biodiversity. Many of you also submitted areas of land that would be suitable for nature restoration. These have been reviewed and, where relevant, will be incorporated into our draft strategy and Local Habitat Map.
The next round of public consultation will take place in early 2025. Keep an eye on our website for updates or sign up to our consultation database to receive direct communications here Get Involved In Planning and click on the ‘contact us’ link.
