How to apply for a primary and secondary school place and how to complete an in-year application to move to another school.

In-year application

You need to arrange for an education history form (Word) to be completed by your child’s current or most recent school.

The education history form can then be uploaded with your online application. More information on in-year applications can be found in the existing year groups booklet for parents.

University Technical Colleges, Studio Schools and 14 to 19 Academies

The Government requires all Local Authorities to provide parents of children currently in Year 9, with information about schools that accept applications for places in Year 10 that are 14 to 19 schools.

Examples of these schools may be University Technical Colleges, Studio Schools, or 14 to 19 Academies. These are schools that admit children, with a normal year of entry being Year 10.

This information is not applicable to Year 10 transfers between schools within Worcestershire.

Worcestershire does not have any of these particular schools, however we are required to provide you with information should you wish to travel to these schools outside the county. This information can be found in the Information for Parents Book. This can be found in this page under booklets and guides.
