Room hire at Worcestershire Libraries

From 27 February 2024 our room booking prices have been updated to ensure we continue to offer affordable rooms at competitive prices. Concessionary rates are still available for not-for-profit organisations such as community groups, societies and charities and free room hire is offered during Libraries Unlocked opening hours.

Room bookings for Pershore Library are managed by Pershore Town Council.

Supported by Library Improvement Fund using public funding by Arts Council England Using Arts Council funding, we have upgraded to online booking and have invested in new video-conferencing technology in many library meeting rooms to allow you to invite attendees in other locations to join your meeting.

Worcestershire Libraries and The Hive will consider requests to hire other interior and exterior library space. 

Please contact your local library to discuss further. 

  • a minimum one-hour charge applies to all bookings, with additional half hours available. 
  • when making a booking, you will be asked to sign and agree to the booking terms and conditions. 
  • all room booking prices include public liability insurance 

Book an exhibition space

Are you an artist, craftsperson or an organisation that is interested in exhibiting your work at your local library?

To do this you will need to apply directly to your local library in writing marking your envelope 'Art Application'.

Your application should include:

  • which library you would like to exhibit at
  • what your exhibition will be called
  • a brief description of the theme, materials used, the number of pieces to show and rough sizes of your work
  • your preferred exhibition dates
  • some information about yourself or your organisation   
  • some photographs of your work (please include a stamped addressed envelope for their return)
