We have a programme of works to improve the heart of our towns across the county.

The aim is to provide public spaces that are both robust and functional as well as being distinctive, attractive and which helps to preserve the county’s historic character. This is essential to developing Worcestershire’s economy, particularly as a centre for sustainable tourism.

On these webpages you will find information on improvement schemes that are in progress and those that have been recently completed.

Malvern Hills Science Park

Malvern Hills Science Park

As a key employment location in Worcestershire and one of Worcestershire County Council's Game Changer sites, an expanded Malvern Hills Science Park has a very positive impact on economic growth, particularly as it is a strong location for attracting Phd level staff with direct trains from Birmingham (1 hr) and London (2.5 hrs).

Home to the National Cyber Skills Centre, the UK’s only e-skills UK accredited centre of cyber security excellence, Malvern is already one of the primary locations in the UK for research, development and the commercialisation of cyber security products and services. Prestigious companies in residence nearby include NexGWorx (Worcestershire 5G) and QinetiQ.

Phase 5, the most recent expansion opened in April 2019, is designated as 'grow on space' for new and existing tenants with 17,000 square feet divided into six large units.
