HoW College is the largest further education college in Worcestershire County; with campuses in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Worcester and Malvern. HoW College provides vocational, technical and professional courses, access programmes, apprenticeships, degrees, foundation degree, HNDs, HNCs, NVQs and business training. Subject areas include accounting and bookkeeping, art and design, construction, engineering and manufacturing, hospitality and catering, law, hair and beauty, media production and sports and fitness. Pathway to Care
We have an exciting new opportunity for individuals looking for an opportunity to work in the Adult Social Care sector. We are delighted to be able to offer ‘Pathway to Care’ to prospective learners in the Worcestershire and Herefordshire region.
The course will give learners an insight and awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the care worker in order to progress their career. ‘Pathway to Care’ takes a rounded approach to support learners in flourishing into professional individuals ready for the workplace. Learners will have a better understanding of the skills, attitudes and principles of a care worker to help them become well equipped in applying for prospective roles. Areas covered will include communication, dementia awareness and the expectations of care worker, both physically and emotionally.
Work Ready
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to progress their skills to become dynamic individuals ready for the workplace.
The course will focus on transferable skills that can support across a wide range of employment opportunities.
This qualification will cover topics such as Customer Service, Behaviours, Attitudes and Attributes Required for Employment, Understanding Professional Relationships, and Developing Own Interpersonal Skills which will support individuals build resilience for the workplace.
We are delighted to extend this course out into many different areas including, Worcestershire and Birmingham.
Liaising with local referral partners in these areas, we have created this course to respond to the current job market and support local employers during this difficult time.

Kidderminster College
Kidderminster College is part of NCG, one of the largest education and training providers in the UK. Kidderminster College provides opportunities in further and higher education including apprenticeships and traineeships. A wide variety of courses are offered on a full or part-time basis and include animal care, digital games design and development, musical theatre, hair and media make-up and travel and tourism.
