Reusable nappies

Choosing real nappies is one of the single biggest things you as a family can do to cut down the amount of non-recyclable waste you produce.

Why choose reusable nappies?

  • around half the residual waste (black bin waste) a family with a baby produces, is nappies
  • switching to reusable nappies is much kinder to the environment
  • twice as much water is used to produce the required number of disposable nappies than will ever be used in the production and washing of reusable nappies
  • you could save up to £1500 by using reusable nappies

We offer parents £50 towards the cost of reusable nappies. You can apply for a voucher code which can be redeemed via The Nappy Lady website. You can redeem the voucher against any number of nappy products (see website for conditions).

Visit the Worcestershire Nappy Library website to hire new born or birth to potty nappies to try before you buy and get support from one of their volunteers to help you get the most out of your nappies.

Apply for a voucher

To be eligible for the voucher you must:

  • live within the county of Worcestershire
  • have a baby under 24 months old or be expecting
  • you also need to be willing to be contacted a few months after you start using your nappies to help us evaluate the effectiveness of the incentive scheme

Terms and conditions

  • only one application per household or family (unless you have twins)
  • vouchers can only be exchanged for nappy products on The Nappy Lady website
  • no cash alternative will be offered
  • vouchers will need to be redeemed within the financial year of their issue (April to March)

Please note: We will send a follow up questionnaire six months after sending you the cashback voucher. It is a term of receiving the cashback that you fill in the questionnaire.
