Lord-Lieutenant's Cadets

Each year, the Lord-Lieutenant appoints 3 to 4 young people to serve as her Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets.

Cadets are drawn from the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force. They assist the Lord-Lieutenant as required (often on parade for Royal visits) and they act as ambassadors for their organisations.

The 2025 to 2026 Cadets are:

  • Cadet Sergeant Fintan Davies -RAFAC
  • Cadet Leading Cadet Bethany Davies -   Sea Cadet Corps
  • Cadet Corporal Joshua Wilkins - Royal Marine Corps
  • Cadet Sergeant Annabelle Howell - Combined Cadet Force
  • Cadet Sergeant Jessica Jelfs - Army Cadet Force
