Christmas trees

Christmas trees (real & artificial)

Real Christmas trees:  Take to a Household Recycling Centre and put in the green waste container or chop it up and put it in your brown garden waste bin (this service is chargeable via your local council).

There are a number of charities will collect your tree after Christmas in return for a donation. Please check our page nearer the time for a list of charities and areas where they collect from.

Artificial Christmas trees: Offer to charities or schools or for sale/reuse if it is in good condition.  If it is broken take to an HRC and put in the general waste container.
