  • store peppers in the fridge in a loosely tied plastic bag to keep them fresher for longer
  • if you're only using part of a pepper, leave the stem, seeds and membrane intact, the pepper will store much longer than when you remove them
  • chop the tops and bottoms off for use in spaghetti bolognese
