As a householder, you have a legal obligation (duty of care) to take all reasonable measures to ensure that your waste is disposed of properly.

If you operate any form of business, you have a legal responsibility to safely contain and legally dispose of any waste produced from your business.

Fly-tipping is the illegal deposit of any waste onto land that does not have a licence to accept it.
