Lightbulbs

Besides being a different sort of glass to bottles and jars, light bulbs contain other materials such as metal

Energy saving bulbs, LED lights and strip lights can be taken to your local Household Recycling Centre and put into the lightbulb recycling container.

Incandescent light bulbs, which are the older type, cannot be recycled so will need to be put into your black/grey bin or general waste container at a Household Recycling Centre.
