Glasses (drinking)

Glasses (drinking)

This type of glass cannot be recycled in your green bin as it is made of a different type of glass to bottles and requires a different temperature to melt down - do not put it in your green bin as it will not be recycled.

Sets of good quality or unusual glasses can be offered for sale or reuse online or donated to a local charity (check their criteria first).  Some Household Recycling Centres have a reuse container that will take good quality bric-a-brac.

Wrap broken drinking glasses in newspaper and place in your black/grey bin or the general waste container at an HRC.
