Electrical items

Description

Working electrical items can be offered for sale or reuse online.

Broken items could be repaired at your nearest Repair Cafe where volunteers will try and fix it for a small donation

Alternatively they can be taken to a Household Recycling Centre and placed in the Small Electrical Appliances or scrap metal containers.

Please note: If they contain any batteries, particularly lithium ones, please remove and place in the battery recycling point. Lithium batteries can cause fires at recycling plants and in collection vehicles if not removed.

Residents in Wychavon can place small electrical items on their black bin on collection day and it will be placed in an area under the vehicle and recycled separately.

Please do not put them in your green bin – they will not be recycled.
