Bras

Unwanted bras can be passed onto some national charities for recycling. These include Against Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Now.  They raise funds for the charities and most bras are sent to developing countries where these items are not readily available. You can find your nearest collection point on their websites.

Charity recycling bags that come through your door often take bras – check the list of items normally shown on the bag. If unsuitable for re-use just recycle them in the clothing and textile containers at a Household Recycling Centre.

Bravissimo runs a bra recycling scheme. For every kg of bras recycled, a donation is given to Coppafeel to support their work in highlighting the need to check breasts regularly, to give the best chance of surviving breast cancer.  Bras can be donated at all UK Bravissimo shops..
