Books

Some charity shops are still taking books for resale.  Alternatively offer for sale or reuse online.

The following Household Recycling Centre sites have a dedicated book bank:

  • Bilford Road, Worcester
  • Hallow Road, Worcester
  • Hanbury (Droitwich)
  • Kidderminster
  • Stourport-on-Severn
  • Tenbury Wells

Please do not put them in your green recycling bin as books contain coatings and glues that make recycling via the kerbside difficult.  However, tatty paperbacks can be placed in paper banks at an HRC as they are taken directly to the paper mill for recycling.
