Ash (Coal/wood)

Please ensure that any ashes are completely cool before handling or disposal. Cold wood ash can be added to your home compost bin or dug into your garden as a fertiliser.

Coal ash and briquettes cannot be composted. When completely cold they should be wrapped and put into your black/grey waste bin.
