Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Experimental Prohibition of Waiting and Loading on Cathedral Square, Worcester]

On 21 September 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will impose prohibition of waiting and loading at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

The whole of the area in Cathedral Square, as bounded to the south by College Street, to the west by the western building line of High Street, to the north by the boundary of numbers 102/103 High Street and the northern building line of High Street and to the east by the eastern building line of High Street; this proposal includes the access road to the multistory car park.

The Experimental Order will come into operation on 19 October 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. If you wish to object/make representations about the Order being made permanent you must do so in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk; by 19 April 2024 specifying the grounds on which they are made.
