Since our launch in Droitwich and Stourport Libraries last year, we've witnessed an incredible response with over 21,500 visits, 27,500 book issues, and 5,000 computer sessions during Libraries Unlocked hours.

But that's not all - the impact goes beyond the numbers!

Community partners have used the extended hours to introduce fantastic partner-led events. Lucy Bird, our fantastic Community Builder in Droitwich, shared her thoughts:

“Libraries Unlocked has enabled me to work with residents and partner with other organizations to hold events and activities to support the local community. This would not have been possible without longer library opening hours and free access to library space.”
