Worcestershire County Council is putting on additional Worcestershire On Demand buses in Bromsgrove on Sunday 22 June 2025, to support local travel during the popular Wythall & Hollywood Fun Run.

The demand-responsive service will operate with two vehicles from 7:00am to 3:00pm, covering the entire Bromsgrove zone, including Wythall, Alvechurch, Stoke Pound, and Stoke Prior. Please note this special Sunday service is only available on Sunday 22 June and does not include the Malvern zone.

Normally running Monday to Saturday, Worcestershire On Demand offers flexible, affordable, and sustainable transport without the need for fixed routes or timetables.

Instead, passengers book a ride through the Worcestershire On Demand app, choosing their pick-up and drop-off points. The app then guides them to a nearby 'virtual bus stop' and provides real-time arrival updates.

The service is ideal for runners, spectators, and volunteers attending the Wythall & Hollywood Fun Run, offering a convenient and eco-friendly way to travel around the area on event day.

Fares and booking:

  • there is a flat fare of £2.50 per person, with additional passengers paying £1.25
  • concessionary travel cards are accepted
  • veterans travel for free
  • ticket bundles are available for regular users
  • book via the Worcestershire On Demand app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • rides can be scheduled up to 5 days in advance
