Worcestershire’s budding entrepreneurs and growing businesses are being given a major boost, thanks to a fully funded package of expert support and grant funding available through the Enterprising Worcestershire programme.

Backed by Worcestershire County Council, the initiative is designed to help start-ups get off the ground and support ambitious enterprises ready to scale. From practical workshops to one-to-one coaching, Enterprising Worcestershire offers a tailored approach to business success.

Gary Woodman, Assistant Director for Economy, commented: "We know that starting and growing a business can be both exciting and challenging. That’s why we’re proud to support programmes like Enterprising Worcestershire, which provide practical tools, tailored advice, and funding to help local entrepreneurs take the next step with confidence. Investing in early-stage businesses is investing in the future of our local economy."

In addition to business support, a range of grant funding opportunities are also available, including support for elevating your business, research and development (R&D), and reducing energy costs through the British Energy Advice Service Grant.

The Enterprising Worcestershire programmes are open to businesses and residents located in the districts of Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Wychavon, and Wyre Forest.

Businesses based in Worcester City should contact the Worcester City Economic Development team directly at economy@worcester.gov.uk or call 01905 722106. Alternatively, support is also available through the Worcestershire Growth Hub.
