Plough Road and Hawthorn Rise, Tibberton POW NS

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Plough Road and Hawthorn Rise, Tibberton and Worcestershire County Council (Plough Road, Tibberton) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2024


On 25 April 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Tibberton: -


Plough Road (Southeast side): from a point 13 metres southwest of its junction with Evelench Lane for a distance of 50 metres; then from a point 140 metres southwest of the junction for a distance of 34 metres, all in a south westerly direction. (Northwest side): from a point 68 metres southwest of the centrepoint of its junction with Evelench Lane to a point 8 metres southwest of its junction with Hawthorn Rise in a south westerly direction.


Hawthorn Rise (Both sides): from its junction with Plough Road for a distance of 8 metres in a north westerly direction.


The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.


Worcestershire County Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school keep clear markings at any time as follows:
Plough Road: (Northwest side): from a point 9 metres southwest of the centrepoint of its junction with Evelench Lane for 58 metres in a south westerly direction.


The Order will come into operation on 16 May 2024.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
