Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Linksview Crescent, Worcester] and [Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting on Ripon Road, Worcester]
On 25 January 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Linksview Crescent: (east side): from a point 45 m south of its junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 41 m in a southerly direction
Linksview (west side) from a point 10 m south of its junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 5 m in a southerly direction
Linksview Crescent (both sides) from the northernmost junction that Linksview Crescent has with itself for a distance of 10 m in an easterly direction.
Restriction of Waiting (8am to 5.30pm Mon - Fri) Linksview Crescent (east side) from a point 10 m south of its junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 35 m in a southerly direction.
Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting – Ripon Road (south side) from a point 97 m west of its eastern junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 35 m in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 15 February 2024.
