Get Safe is the Worcestershire name for our multi-agency support and protection for children and young people at risk of Criminal Exploitation.
In 2023, 48 young people identified as being at risk of knife crime attended the Steer Clear programme run by West Mercia Police to discuss issues around knife crime and hear from adults who had experienced exploitation.
This autumn, a theatre production created in collaboration between Worcester Theatres and Get Safe toured schools across the county. 'You In?’ raised awareness of child grooming and exploitation and was seen by over 3,200 pupils across the County with bespoke performances for under and over 11’s including specific sensory performances.
