Worcestershire will remember them

Published date

Worcestershire will be coming together next week to remember our armed forces who have died in wars and other conflicts serving their country.

Following a severely scaled back programme to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday last year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, parades and services are returning to the county this year.

Councillor Rob Adams, Chairman of the Worcestershire Armed Forces Partnership, said: “It is wonderful that so many of our communities are able to revert back to usual commemorations with parades returning across the county.   It is a really poignant opportunity to be able to come together and pay our respects to those that have lost their lives fighting for their country.”
