Worcester river bridge and the bottom of Hylton Road will close from 11am on 22 February 2022 to allow for a contraflow system to be installed on New Road.

This is following flooding to Hylton Road.

The bridge will reopen following the installation.

Worcester residents are advised to use Carrington Bridge (South) or Holt Fleet (North) as an alternative.

The Bull Ring roundabout in St Johns will open to allow traffic to turn right on to Tybridge Street and will remain open for retail park access as long as possible.
