Tenbury Bridge will be closing at 2pm today to allow teams to remove a large amount of flood debris under the bridge arches.

The closure will be in place for an estimated 8 hours, and updates will be available on the re-opening of the bridge via the Worcestershire Highways and Travel Twitter account.

Diversions will be in place via the following roads: A456, A49, A4112, Stockton, Leysters, Oldwood, Cross Street, Market Street, Teme Street

Pedestrians can be managed across the bridge safely by the contractors working there, if they talk to the on-site operatives who will escort them.
