Worcestershire’s annual celebration of local food and drink is back.

Taste Worcestershire will run from 6 to 26 October, bringing three weeks of special menus, exclusive dining offers and discounts at some of the county’s most popular restaurants.

All offers can be accessed through the new Taste Worcestershire Golden Ticket – a free digital pass, which is available now via the Visit Worcestershire website. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, and once registered, visitors and residents will be ready to unlock dining deals across the county, redeemable at participating venues from 6 to 26 October.

From award-winning fine dining to much-loved local favourites, more than 15 venues have already signed up with plenty more to come, giving food lovers the perfect excuse to try something new this autumn.

Last year, Taste Worcestershire supported 56 local hospitality businesses, generating thousands of pounds of additional spend into the local economy. The event provided a timely boost for the sector ahead of the busy festive season.

Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Business and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Taste Worcestershire is a great way to celebrate the county’s fantastic restaurants and support local businesses at the same time. With so many offers to choose from, I’d encourage everyone to sign up for the free Golden Ticket, head out this October and perhaps try somewhere you’ve never been before.”

There’s still time for Worcestershire restaurants to get involved. A business information pack is available on the Visit Worcestershire website, or email visitworcestershire@worcestershire.gov.uk for details.
