Worcestershire’s vibrant food and drink scene takes centre stage this weekend as Taste Worcestershire returns for its second year at the Malvern Autumn Show.

The initiative, organised by Visit Worcestershire, kicks off a three-week programme running from 6 to 26 October, featuring exclusive offers, special menus, and foodie events across the county.

This year, Taste Worcestershire has its own dedicated space at the Autumn Show. The All Things Drink zone will showcase the very best of Worcestershire’s drinks producers from award-winning wines and craft ciders to small-batch beers and artisan spirits.

Visitors can look forward to sampling a range of local produce and, by signing up for the Taste Worcestershire Golden Ticket on Friday 26 September, will be entered into a prize draw to win a table for two at Hogarths Stone Manor’s Taste of Worcestershire Gin Dinner in collaboration with Piston Distillery.

Gary Woodman, Assistant Director for Economy at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Taste Worcestershire is all about discovery from hidden gems to household names, we’re inviting everyone to explore the flavours that make our county unique. Whether you’re enjoying a glass of local cider, sampling a chef’s special menu, or meeting the producers behind the products, this celebration is a chance to connect with the people and passion that put Worcestershire on the map as a food and drink destination.”

Taste Worcestershire is set to unite the very best of the county’s food and drink scene, all accessible through one voucher available to download, free of charge from the Visit Worcestershire website.

The initiative will also spotlight local producers through a series of "foodie hero" stories over the three-week celebration.

With over 75 restaurants, cafés, and bars involved in Taste Worcestershire and more being added over the coming weeks there is plenty on offer. Visit the Taste Worcestershire pages of the Visit Worcestershire website to receive your Golden Ticket today.
