The Summer Holiday Activities programme is well underway across the county.

There are over 50 providers in 70 locations across the county, ensuring there really is something for everyone to get involved with during the school break.

Ready, Steady, Worcestershire have partnered with providers all across the county to bring the programme together.

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Education said: “I’m really grateful to all of our community partners and providers, and the Ready, Steady Worcestershire team for putting together such a comprehensive programme of activities for our children to enjoy during their summer break.

I’m looking forward to hearing about the fantastic memories made across the county. We also understand the school holidays can be challenging for families who depend on school meal provisions, and it is vitally important that we support families who find it difficult to feed their children during the holidays. We will support these families in the best way possible through Ready Steady Worcestershire.”

The Summer Holiday Activities Programme is aimed at children aged between 5 to 15 with something for everyone!

This initiative is part of the wider Holiday Activities and Food programme, a government funded scheme to make Summer Activities and Food available to all families.
