Worcestershire’s business community is invited to come together for a morning of inspiration, insight, and practical support at the Business Worcestershire Conference, taking place next Wednesday (11 June 2025) at Sixways Stadium.

This informative half-day event is aimed at local business owners who are keen to upskill their workforce or unlock funding to help their enterprise grow. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your business to the next level, the conference promises a packed programme of expert speakers, real-life success stories, and hands-on guidance to help you move forward with confidence.

Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Business and Skills, said: “Worcestershire has a strong sense of community and a real spirit of enterprise. We’re here to make sure local businesses have the support they need to grow and succeed. This conference is all about coming together to share knowledge, ideas, and opportunities. I would encourage all business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to come along and find out more about the support we have on offer.”

One of the highlights of the morning will be a keynote address from Naomi Wachner, who recently won the 2025 Women Who Wins award. Naomi will share how support from Worcestershire County Council’s Business Coaching Programme helped her business flourish. Also speaking is Scott Garrett, director of SGM Music Group, who will talk about how the Innovation Worcestershire programme supported him in launching his unique voice supplement product, Vita Voice.

Attendees will also have the chance to hear from a panel of experts discussing the key ingredients of a strong grant application, along with a comprehensive look at the business support currently available through Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire Growth Hub.

If you or anyone your know is looking for new opportunities, connections, or simply a bit of direction, this event is not to be missed.
