This month’s update includes news and information about:

Worcestershire launches the PINS programme

A new project called Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) is underway in 32 Worcestershire schools. The programme will help schools become more inclusive, welcoming, and supportive for neurodiverse children, with staff taking part in training and workshops from October to January.

Co-production with young people

The newly named Voices United Forum is giving young people with SEND the chance to share their views and shape services. Recent activities include creating a newsletter, launching a Facebook page, and working with parent carers on measuring the impact of co-production.

Enhanced provision for under 5s

Dingley’s Promise has opened its second centre in Worcester, offering enhanced support for children under 5 with SEND and their families. Alongside tailored support, the centre provides family support activities such as coffee mornings, Stay and Plays, and advice events.
