Worcestershire Fostering has released it's new short film, 'The Run'.
The Run follows Tom's journey in foster care. His run starts as a way to escape - away from danger, away from gangs, just to stay safe.
With the support of his foster carers, his running takes on a new meaning. He runs in races, he runs to enjoy himself, he runs knowing someone is there for him.
Sometimes in fostering, it’s the everyday things that make the biggest difference: a stable home, a new pair of trainers, or someone supporting him from the sidelines.
This film is created with the voices of young people who have lived in care. Though the actors tell the story, the experiences are real.
