Worcestershire Lieutenancy would like to remind the county’s businesses of the approaching deadline for the 2022 Queen’s Award for Enterprise (QAE).

The deadline for applications for this year’s QAE is Wednesday 8 September.

The county has been well represented in these awards in recent years and the Lord-Lieutenant would like to encourage Worcestershire’s innovative businesses to enter.

The 2021 Queen’s Award for Enterprise included three outstanding recipients: Worcester based OLPRO and Payara based in Malvern, received awards in the International Trade category; and Fibex Ltd, also based in Malvern, received their award for Innovation.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft LVO OBE CStJ said:

“The Queen’s Awards are the most prestigious awards available to UK businesses and are widely recognised internationally.  They include awards for innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.  There have been 24 winners in Worcestershire over the last eight years, and I hope that more businesses will continue to put themselves forward this year and in the future.”
