Victorian Christmas Fayre in Cathedral Square

The Victorian Christmas Fayre is returning to Worcester next weekend, and a park and ride service to the event will once again be available from County Hall.

The County Council will be providing parking space in one of the car parks at County Hall along with staff to help visitors in support of the Park & Ride service no. 910 operated commercially by First Worcester Bus.

The event has grown to become one of the leading themed Christmas Fayres in the country.

200 stalls will be taking over the city centre selling local arts, crafts, food and gifts so why not make the most of the festivities and use the park and ride service to and from the event?

Councillor Mike Rouse, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said: “The Victorian Christmas Fayre is always a special time for the city of Worcester and our county as a whole, bringing in a lot of people from further afield.  For many, the event marks the start of their Christmas celebrations. We’re really pleased that First Bus have agreed to run the park and ride scheme with us again this year, giving people options and flexibility on how they travel; it proves popular and is a great way to ensure you can enjoy what the fayre has to offer, whilst keeping the city centre moving.”
