Worcestershire’s small and medium-sized manufacturers can now apply for tailored support and grant funding through the newly extended Elevate Manufacturing programme, open until March 2026.
Backed by Worcestershire County Council, Elevate Manufacturing offers ambitious manufacturers hands-on support to accelerate growth, boost productivity, and unlock vital funding, all designed around their business. Since its launch in summer 2024, the programme has already helped over 50 businesses across the county to scale and grow.
Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Business and Skills, said: “We’re proud to offer a fully funded programme that helps local manufacturers grow, innovate, and compete nationally. It’s a unique opportunity to overcome common challenges, get expert advice, and access funding supporting Worcestershire manufacturers to create high-value jobs and build long-term success.”
Local manufacturers like Printed Banners and Signs Ltd are already reaping the rewards.
Alice Fox, from the company, said: “The programme provided invaluable support in helping us strengthen our digital marketing strategy. As a small manufacturer, finding the time and expertise to improve our online visibility has always been a challenge. Thanks to this programme and accompanying grant, we've been able to invest in expert guidance that is already making a positive impact on our brand awareness and lead generation."
The Elevate Manufacturing programme offers tailored support for each participating business. Companies work with a dedicated Growth Manager to develop a strategic action plan focused on their unique challenges and opportunities. Businesses also gain access to exclusive manufacturing masterclasses, covering key areas like digital transformation and supply chain optimisation, designed to boost productivity and competitiveness.
Local manufacturing SMEs are encouraged to act quickly to secure one of the remaining 20 places.
