Introduction

Whatever the weather and season, this is a good site to base yourself to explore the surrounding countryside. The mighty River Severn is the most obvious attraction near here, but look a little further afield and there are three nature reserves and two historic towns all within walking distance.

Opening Times

24 hour pedestrian access and vehicular access is from 07:30 to 18:30 daily. Admission is free

Blackstone Picnic Place, DY12 1PU. Located between Stourport and Bewdley off the A456 Bewdley by-pass. Height barrier 6'6" 1.980 metres. Follow the brown and white tourist signs. Grid Reference: 797743.
