Inclusion Pupil Premium
Inclusion in education is a whole setting approach to ensure every child and young person learns and participates together.
Inclusion in education promotes the inclusion of children and young people with additional and special needs within mainstream education. This includes children who are vulnerable due to economic disadvantage and/or family circumstances.
The focus of inclusion should always enable children to be educated alongside their peers within their local community. Worcestershire’s Inclusion Definition.
We encourage all schools to use evidence informed practices, evaluated by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), to support provision and practices in schools and to allocate this funding effectively in order to drive high standards for disadvantaged pupils.
